***I am a 41year old advanced exerciser (5-6 days per week) and I have all of Jari Love's DVD's. This latest one takes it up a level from the rest. I reminds me of her Get Ripped 1000, which incorporates cardio. This one keeps your heart rate up the entire time, just by the way she combines the multiple muscle groups in each segment. I have even had to pause the DVD once or twice to catch my breath. This is the DVD I choose when I know I need to kick my own rear that day. ***I love this work out, yes there is a lot of squats but I think it is a good addition to her tapes that focus so much on upper body. For someone like me who really needs work on the lower body this was excellent. I could barely get through this workout and had to leave the step out. I think next time I will use a lower step height but am looking forward to the changes I know I am going to see! ***Extremely Ripped is an excellent DVD that provides a great workout. Many of my friends have bought this one and have said how much they enjoy the workout. Jari chats with the members of the team and is joking with them-I think it is great to see this side of her. Her other DVDs are also excellent-the ripped series is the one type of workout that has given me the greatest success in weight loss and in overall muscle building. I believe in Ripped more than any other type of workout. No one can deny how successful this DVD is or will become. ***Extremely Ripped by Jari Love is her best video yet! In each high- rep exercise I got the workout I needed and I felt that all my major muscles were targeted. Throughout the entire video I noticed each exercise had a high intensity level in which all of her videos are known for. The 8- minute ab workout is fantastic, I noticed my abs were more defined within a week. In this video there is more chit chat with Jari and I really enjoy that because it makes her real and not fake. Its funny and makes the workouts even more enjoyable. When she becomes more interacting I feel she motivates me to work harder even though she is just on the TV. I get the ultimate sweat and this is definitely her best video yet. I've been doing Jari's workout videos since Feb. '07 and I have to say, I am an absolute fan!! If you workout between 3 and 4 times per week you will develop a body that is solid and extremely well fit. I rotate between 3 videos weekly. I began with Jari's '3 Pack' and have integrated the Extremely Ripped 1000 into my routine sporadically. I love the 'Slim & Lean' and the 'Ripped to the Core' in particular. Women are always asking me what i do, and i always refer them to the Jari Love workout videos. AND OF COURSE, always watch your sodium content, fiber, and fat in everything you consume!! Stay Healthy!!

Hi Kelly, that is difficult to answer since everyone is different. I can tell you that in 4 weeks I have lost 8lbs and gained some muscle definition. I am far from where I want to be but definitely am on the path. When I started working out again the end of Dec I really wanted to lose about 15lbs before the first of Feb but that wont happen. Still you will probably be surprised at your progress in 4 weeks. I suggest you search this site for blogs and forum discussions regarding diet as well as go to the store section of this site and get Jari's rotation schedule which will help you get the most out of workouts. I am finding that this site is really helping me get my eating cleaned up as well as giving me the motivation to get my workouts done well every day. The other thing is make sure your workouts are as intense as you can handle - you will burn more calories all day long!

So, I have just ordered the Ultimate 4 Pack...my question is...what kind of results could I expect in 4 weeks or less?? My sister's wedding is Feb.20....I weight about 144 now..and want to be about 120. Not by then obviously..but what could I expect by then you think??

I am very new to Ripped and I love it so far. I have been working out on and off the last 4 years and have struggled reaching my goals. I am a big Jillian Michaels fan and I have all her dvd's she has been my "personal trainer" and really helped me in my fitness journey. However, I found I wanted to add more variety to my dvd library as I didnt want to join a gym again or get another personal trainer. I searched on Amazon.com and found Jari Love's Get Extremly Ripped 1000. I absolutley LOVE, LOVE this workout. Is it possible to see results in one day? Well, i really feel like I do and I am now going to add more of these dvd's to my library. I really think between the two trainers i will have reached my goals in no time if i just stick with it this time!

I LOVE all of the Ripped DVDS...I started with the Get Ripped when I was pregnant with my first son, and just kept buying them as they came out and havent stopped doing them for about 4 years now. I have tried to go without doing them, and it doesnt happen. When I am training for my half mararthons, I find they help me really keep toned and look the best I can, They have inspired me to become a personal trainer, becuause Jari is my trainer, and without her, I am lost, and I want to be able to help others the way she has helped. me. I reccomend Ripped to everyone I know, and eveeryone sees awesome results the way I have. After 2 kids, I look better now at 25 then I did at 18...thanks Jari, you are my role model!!

I say this after every new Jari DVD but this time I have to shout it, this is Jari's best yet! I am such a fan. I too am a lifelong fitness person, I'm not naturally thin, so I have to workout 6 days per week to continue to improve on my 5'8 141lb frame. I was diagnosed with a brain tumor about 5 years ago that basically crushed my endocrine system, and yep, my metabolism. Jari's DVD's have helped me battle through the weight gain I experienced when the tumor was found, and kicking through the problems I had with the multitude of meds that I had to be on to get back to the 130 that I was before all this happened. I'm almost there, and it's literally taken the last two years to get here. I'm convinced the combination of gym workouts, and 3-4 days per week of Jari have more than pushed me out of the nightmare. I'm so glad I found her, and Extremely Ripped is just another jewel in her crown. I agree with Kel, the ab track really has me inspired and a couple of die hard gym rat friends of mine have now started their own Jari library because they now believe. Keep up the outstanding work Jari!

I have all of Jari's DVDs and I am really enjoying the new Extremely Ripped DVD. I am a mom of a 2 year old and a 4 mth old so I have very little time. I love how it's broken down into two 30 min segments. I also enjoy the chit chat throughout the video that another poster commented about. It makes me feel much more involved in the workout. Keep the awesome DVDs coming, Jari!

I have to ad this comment because I just love the ab track on the Extremely Ripped. I've been using the ab workout religeously and the results are phenomenal. Can you believe it?...I've had numerous personal trainers in the past and although many have helped me sculpt my body and lower my body fat, I haven't had one that has been able to give me ripped abs. But guess what?! By using this DVD, my abs look amazing. Thanks Jari!!
