I'm an absolute fan of breakfast and I am always looking for new ideas. Feel free to share your favorites!!

Swiss Muesli
1/2cup quick oats (not cooked)
1/2cup vanilla yogurt
1/2cup soy milk
1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder
1/2cup blueberries (or other berries)

The night before, mix all ingredients together and put in the fridge. The following morning bring it out and you can either eat it as is (which is what I do) or add a bit more milk. Awesome breakfast if you don't have much time in the morning to prepare.

Strawberry Banana Oatmeal
1/2cup oatmeal
4-6 strawberries
1/2 sliced banana
1/2cup vanilla or strawberry yogurt
1/2scoop protein powder

cook the oatmeal following the directions. Once cooked, mix in the strawberries, banana, protein powder, and yogurt. Delicious!

Apple Oatmeal
1/2cup oatmeal
1 medium apple, cut in half, cored, and sliced
1/2cup soy milk
1/2 scoop protein powder

Begin boiling the water for the oatmeal, once boiling add one half of the apple and then the oats. Cook the oats and apples as you would normally cook the oats. Once cooked add the protein powder and soy milk.

Strawberry Omelet
3 eggs
1cup strawberries, sliced
3/4cup yogurt
1/2scoop protein powder

Mix the eggs in a bowl until the yolks and whites are completely mixed. Pour into a non stick frying pan on medium heat. Add a couple of the strawberry slices to the eggs while they are still runny. Once the bottom side is done, flip them over. Add the remaining strawberries ontop of the eggs. Once the other side is cooked fold the eggs in half to make an omelet. Mix the yogurt and protein powder. Put the omelet on a plate and pour the yogurt over top the eggs.

3egg whites
chopped veggies - zucchini, red pepper, green onion, mushroom
2 tblsp of salsa
dash of cilantro
cheese (optional)

mix it all up in a bowl, microwave for 3-5 min till it's cooked thoroughly and wrap it up in a whole grain tortilla wrap. I like to top mine off with some avacado.

a great healthy snack is 1/2 cup of plain yogurt, mix with stevia to sweeten then mix 1/2 cup of dry cottage cheese...this is full of protein.

Ooh breakfast.

My favorite thing to make for breakfast that I make is protein pancakes.

I c oatmeal
1 c cottage cheese
3 egg whites
1 c milk
1/8 c pancake batter

blend the eggs and cottgae cheese and half the milk together then add the dry products and the rest of the milk. Blend until smooth. cook over medium low flame like a pancake.

My son eats these up. I make them the night before because they are kind of gooey right after cooking because of the ingrediants.

I double the mix to make extra pancakes for the week. Just pop them in the microwave the next day for about 1 minute and a quick and easy breakfast.

Enjoy

I blend 1/2 cup cottage cheese with 1/3 cup pure pumpkin, stevia, and vanilla. Then I top it with 1/2 sliced banana, 1 tbsp all natural peanut butter, and some Kashi Go Lean!

Green smoothies! What an awesome, nutrition packed breakfast. As a vegan I add hemp and pea protein to it. A basic recipe is:

small bunch laciento kale or big handful spinach
1/2 frozen banana
frozen berries
flax seed
plant based protein powder (opt)

Fills me up and gives so much energy, super high in nutrients and antioxidants!
