Jari,
Is there a limit to the weight of the weights you should be using? I mean should you just keep going up and up in weight? Also, on your DVD's when is tells you the total weights you are using it is the combined weight right? If it says Jari 10 lbs, that is 2 ,5 lb weights, correct? I am up to using about the same weights that you are and just wonder if I should go up more or not.

Hi Ginny,

Great work! Yes, the weight totals are the combined totals. So if it says I'm using 16lbs, it means 8lbs in each hand. If you can do more weight, then yes, keep increasing! You want to challenge your body to make sure that you don't plateau.

Keep up with great work!

Hi Jari, now i know why I could barley do the whole workout. So I've been doing the 30min. halves everyother day. I am using a total of 10lbs for 5lbs and 16lbs for 8lbseach time, and boy I felt very challenged. Do you suggest I drop it down to 2.5 and 4lbs? is that what you are useing? and do the whole workout? Witch way do you suggest be the better workout for me ,or get the most out of. I guess I forgot to tell you I'm talking about extremely ripped workout. sorry! Any advice would greatly be appreciated. Thanks so much again! Rosie

Rosemary,
That is what I thought at first until my husband saw the screen and said I think it means 16 lbs TOTAL and then it made sense to me. So don't feel bad I almost made the same mistake!

I use the 5, 8 and 10lb weights. You should use whatever you feel challenged by - the more the challenge, the better!

Keep up the great work!

Jari, thanks for the reply. So for extremely ripped when the screen says 5lbs. You are using 5lbs per hand? Thats how I understand you. But your other dvds when you have 10lbs on the screen you mean 5lbs per hand? Sorry I'm having such a time figureing it out. But if you could let me know for sure I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks so much! Rosie
