Hi Jari!
I have been working out with 3 of your CD's that I have and have been changing them constantly so my body doesn't get used to the workouts. I had hit a plateau and decided that I should up my weights and my cardio, I am a workout freak..lol. Since then, I have gained 5lbs. What am I doing wrong? :(

If you are gaining weight, it's most likely diet or just water retention. Sometimes when we workout a lot, we feel like we can eat more - which is true to some extent - but sometimes we end up eating too much more. It's really important to write down everything you eat and keep track of all the little extras. Calories can sneak into your foods and drinks really easily and it all adds up. Aim for 5-6 meals at about 250-350 calories per meal.
Hope this helps!

Hi Lynnette,
The same thing happened to me. I understand that when you start an intense exercise program your body starts storing more glycogen in your muscles (sugar, basically) so you have enough energy to get through another workout. It should stabilize on it's own soon!
