I have a free measurement service at my gym. They do measurements and body fat.  I did Jari workouts maybe 4 times in two weeks and then went back. Turns out, I actually lost a couple of inches in my waist and I lost a percent of body fat! So I thought hmmmm....I think I"m going to try an experiement.

I got a baseline for my measurements and decided to do my own month long Jari challenge!  I will do 3 Jari workouts per week (probably M/W/F) and do some cardio inbetween.  I will also try to watch my diet as best I can.  I will see what the measurements are at the end of the month. They will be GOOD, I'm sure!

From December through January, I did one month of Chalean Extreme and found I was really disappointed by the results. I just seemed to get "thicker" and was hungry all the time.  I know that Jari's workouts make me feel smaller, so I will try her for a month.  It feels sometimes like some magic changes are taking place when I do her workouts so I'm excited to see the results!

So the first week has passed. I did three days of full DVDs (GR, GR 1000, and ER) and I feel really good! I noticed something weird too. I missed a bit of sleep betweeen Friday to Saturday and Saturday to Sunday, but, I'm not as tired as I could have been. I should have been groggy/unfocused but for some reason I feel more energetic. Still a bit tired but OK. And despite a weekend binge (and some PMS) I lost about a pound. Hmmmm.... interesting. Definitely feeling good about this!

My body feels better in clothes too. No sizes lost yet but I just feel more together (as opposed to "hanging out all over").
