Jari,
I have been doing your "Ripped and Chisled" for a few months now. Is it unusual to have to use different weights for different exercises? Some of the exercises I can use 10 lb weights, and some I have to go as low as 5 lb? Does it just depend on your particular body? I have to add that I am also training for my first marathon and am wondering which exercises would be best for me. Also, I will be 60 in October, but have been running and exercising since my 20's, so for all you youngsters here keep it up, it pays off!

Hi Ginny,

That is totally normal :) Some muscle groups are smaller than others and naturally will be weaker. For example, your shoulders won't be able to support as much weight as your legs so you probably find that you need a lighter weight for shoulder exercises then you do for squats.

Congratulations on your upcoming marathon - that is amazing!

Keep up the great work!
