I am all about the science behind Jari's workouts. But what about the science of diet? We all know that weight loss is essentially taking in less calories that we are using - a no brainer, right? I have 'researched' the number of calories that I need to not only survive, but keep up with my 6 workouts per week - 3 Ripped and 3 HIIT cardio. These are my BMR and AMR - all very scientific :O) The problem I am having is subtracting 500 calories per day from that total to ensure that I lose 1 pound per week - it is torture!! I am hungry all the time - and yes, I am eating 'clean' with protein whenever possible and am trying to eat 5 smaller meals per day. I have to admit that I have lost 5 pounds - with another 10-12 to go, but it has happened very slowly. Do any of you count calories or have any advice on whittling down the calories without feeling hungry??
