Hello,

 

I'm wondering about Body Rock. Is it possible to split it up by doing just ONE kind of cardio (either yours or the dancy type) and then add the weights? Is there a premix for this on the DVD?  Or would you have to do that manually? If you can only do one type of the cardio and add on the weights, how long would that be total?

Yes there is a premix where you can do only the dance or hi/lo or just do weeights and abs. They both start up with Jari doing a warmup solo. I hope that helps

What I want to do is the Hi/Lo and the go right into weights/abs without stopping the DVD. Is this possible? While I appreciate the effort, I do not like dancy workouts. I ballroom dance and that's enough for me. I like my workouts to be more "sporty". Thanks.

Yes, you can just select "Hi/Lo" in the workout menu and after the cardio section it will take you to the weights/ab track.
I was not a fan of the dance sections at all (see my review in the DVD comments and questions forum). I like the idea, but the execution just didn't quite get there for me. Certainly not up to the intensity that the rest of this workout is at.

Did Hi/Lo with weights and abs today itwas about justm under 50m minutes long in total and I burnt 350 calories. #really enjoyed it and the workout was just long enough to give a good workout. I think I will do this as a rotation with workout 1 and 2 of extremely ripped 1000 for a couple of months because they are both my favourite at the moment and leave me feeling I have accomplished something without feeling too exhausted. I workout every other day which maintains my weight and lets me eat whatever I want (within reason!!!). I would like to decrease my fat % and increase my muscle mass but I think that as Jari says mostly that is done throught healthy eating.
